This year I am continuing some ongoing projects while becoming entangled in new ones. I have continued editing Buzzademia: Scholarship in the Internet Vernacular (with Kim Knight and Anne Cong-Huyen) while working on Critical Code Studies work. I also ventured into the land of Fake News with Talan Memmott, teaching for UnderAcademy College a course titled How to Write and Read Fake News: Journullism in the Age of Trump (full syllabus and writings online). This course was also featured in an article in EdsSurge by Jeff Young and was incorporated into another online Fake News course taught by Mark Sample and Amanda Martinez.
