In 2018, I began writing E-Sig, a micro-novel, publishing it one sentence at a time in my email signature.
The story follows the life of Emily, and that is all I will say.
To read the novel, you must receive an email from me (and read the sentence beneath my signature) or trade with those who have received emails from me.
One reader has started a Google Doc to try to compile sentences. I am not sure how that is going.
I do not know when the novel will end.
Sentences numbered the same may or may not be identical.
Think of E-Sig as an experiment in our casual exchange, in the stowaways of communication, of distributed narrative.
Sentences are updated semi-regularly on a weekly basis. As of August 2019, I am up to sentence 76.
