Friday: How Did Last Night's Warm-Up Date Go?
1) Find out which quadruple the Mesos put you in!
Search for your name in this document and see your quadruple assignment.
2) Pretend all four of you went on a date last night.
Post in your quadruple’s thread/discussion in the Warm-Up Date category.
Share (imagine/invent) how your date went from your perspective.
Build on each other’s account, and/or contradict each other about the nuances.
Was it comfortable? Awkward?
What went right? What went wrong?

Instructions for The Quadrupling
It is I, the Mega Meso.
I shall briefly make my words known on this..."dating website"...where our time-honored tradition of The Quadrupling is to take place.
We Mesos have a special and unique purpose. Our role is to help thermophiles find each other by sorting them into quadruples. Those quadruples may only last a week ...or they may last a lifetime.
Today it is Tuesday.
We will begin sorting on Thursday, and The Quadrupling will be made public on Friday.
It is a good time now to look over the writings and profiles of the non-Mesos on the site. My words of advice? Don't pick any random cells to investigate, but the ones that give you *that* feeling, deep in your peptidoglycan, that these are the cells you want to work with, not just in helping them form their quadruple, but as a friend and counselor until the end of their relationship, whenever that may be.
This Meso-only message chamber provides an excellent place to discuss which cells you're thinking of matching together. It can be helpful to get the feedback of other Mesos in these matters ...even if ultimately, you chose not to follow their advice.
Each Meso shall match one quadruple, and one quadruple only. You may submit your quadrupling after 5pm on Thursday.
I must return to my duties at the Vent-ican now, but I shall return to this message chamber before the sorting begins on Thursday.
We may have had our reservations in the past, but the elderphiles are pleased that you are transitioning our important work to internets.
Thusly, I have spoken.
