Foster Care

The Tangerine House is a magical foster care home. That is not accidental.

The Marino family came together through foster care and adoption, and the Mrs. Wobbles stories grew directly out of that experience — the courage it takes, the questions it raises, and the love that makes a family real. Mrs. Wobbles is, in many ways, the foster mother every child deserves: patient, magical, and absolutely certain that the children in her care belong.

These stories are written for children who have been in foster care, children who know someone who has, and children who simply want to understand the world a little better. The themes of belonging, identity, and courage run through every tale.
