"What did you draw?" she asked, moving a torch closer to the wall.
  "Hmm. Home, I guess."
  Patawanyme fingered the smooth curves. "I can see why you ran away. There's not much room."
  "I didn't run away."
  Patawanyme smiled and raised some ash-black fingers to his cheek. "Hmm."
  "It's a girl, then," she said as he pulled away.
  "How did you know that?"
